Inside the Ecosoft 2.5 "x10" water softener cartridge is a food-grade ion exchange resin.

The cartridge reduces the content of hardness salts in water, which cause deposits on plumbing and scale on the surface of heating elements of household appliances. The cartridge body is made of pure European food-grade plastic.

The cartridge is used at one of the purification stages in flow-through filters. It fits filters from other manufacturers with a standard size of 2.5 "x10".
