To maintain the high performance and safety of your reverse osmosis system:

  • Carbon Post-Filter: Replace every 6 months, regardless of the volume of filtered water. Over time, the carbon loses its ability to absorb odors and tastes, which may affect water quality.
  • RO Membrane: Replace every 12 months. Although membranes can technically last longer, annual replacement ensures consistently high-quality water and avoids performance degradation due to scaling, fouling, or clogging.
  • Always follow your RO system manufacturer's maintenance instructions to prevent pressure drops or damage to the system.

The RO membrane filters out up to 99.8% of contaminants including bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and dissolved salts. After filtration, water passes through the post-filter with coconut shell carbon, which polishes the water, improving its taste and odor before reaching your tap.
