The RObust 3000MAX direct flow reverse osmosis filter is designed for cold water purification only.

Pressure monitoring

The front panel features two pressure gauges:

  • Inlet pressure gauge – shows pressure after pre-filters.
  • Pump pressure gauge – shows pressure after the membrane block.

1 This value only applies to the RObust 1500, RObust 3000MAX, and RObust 4000 models.

Pre-filtration cartridges

Replace pre-filters after 40,000 liters of water filtration or at least every 6 months.

  • If the pressure after the pre-filters drops below 1 bar, the cartridges may be clogged.
  • Delaying replacement may damage or reduce the lifespan of the membrane.

Reverse osmosis membrane

With a significant drop in system performance, replacement of reverse osmosis membranes is required. Replace after filtering 60,000 liters or at least once per year if filtration speed decreases.

Downtime maintenance

If unused for over 2 weeks, disinfect before resuming use (procedure in the user manual).

FAQ

  • Yes, several of our reverse osmosis systems are well-suited for restaurants, cafés, and other HoReCa businesses. They are designed to deliver high water quality for kitchen equipment, cooking, dishwashing, and beverages — all while offering stable performance and easy operation.

RObust 3000 MAX is a high-capacity direct flow RO system designed to supply purified water to multiple points of use at once. With its strong flow rate and energy-efficient operation, it is ideal for restaurants that rely on ice makers, steamers, ovens, dishwashers, and other kitchen appliances.

This model ensures consistent performance and long-term reliability even under demanding conditions.

  • The RObust 3000 MAX achieves a solid recovery rate of around 55%, ensuring efficient water usage and reliable performance.

Designed to serve a variety of commercial appliances — from steamers and dishwashers to ice machines — it delivers a flow rate of up to 160 L/h and supports continuous operation for up to 20 hours per day. It's also equipped with enhanced pre-filtration to handle more demanding water conditions.

  • Yes.

The RObust 3000 MAX removes substances that affect the taste of your water, helping you serve better coffee, meals, and drinks — every time. It’s a simple way to improve quality across your kitchen.

  • While it’s not strictly necessary to use a tank when using our commercial water filtration system in your restaurant, we do recommend it for certain use cases: For example, using a tank for the water used by your coffee machine helps to average TDS levels in the water, which results in consistent coffee flavour.

We recommend installing a tank in all cases where our reverse osmosis filters are connected to additional devices

  • While all of our water treatment systems purify water for use in your kitchen equipment reliably, the perfect choice depends on a number of factors like the following:

    • How many appliances will use the purified water?
    • How high is the daily consumption of the purified water?
    • How big or small is the space available for a water filtration system in your restaurant?
    • What quality does the inlet water have in your restaurant?

Not sure which system is right for your setup? Email us at [email protected].

  • The required TDS level of the inlet water depends on the filter model.

All our RObust reverse osmosis filters require a TDS level of 1,000 ppm or less except for RObust Coffee. For this one the required TDS is 150-500 ppm.
