Product information

Ecosoft Core 300 water softener with DV valve is a compact monoblock system with ion exchange resin, designed for tap water softening in private homes and apartments. It reduces water hardness and helps protect household appliances, plumbing, and heating systems from scale buildup.

The Core 300 is built in a space-saving cabinet that fits well in bathrooms, utility rooms, boiler rooms, or basements. The reliable DV control valve operates automatically and supports stable softening performance with minimal user involvement. It is a practical solution for households that need efficient limescale protection, convenient operation, and long-term reliability.

To ensure proper operation, keep the salt level in the brine tank above the water level at all times. We recommend keeping the tank about two-thirds full of salt.

How often you need to add salt depends on water hardness and daily water consumption. For most homes, it is enough to check the salt level every 2–4 weeks.

Important: Do not let the salt run out completely, as this may stop the regeneration process and reduce water softening efficiency.

FAQ

  • Yes. Softened water has reduced hardness, which improves comfort and equipment protection, but remains safe for drinking. It contains fewer calcium and magnesium ions, but no harmful substances are added or introduced.

  • Salt should always be maintained above the water level in the brine tank — ideally, it should fill about 2/3 of the tank volume. The exact frequency depends on your water hardness and daily water usage, but for a typical household, this means checking the salt level every 2–4 weeks and refilling as needed. Never let the salt run out completely, as this may interrupt the regeneration process and reduce softening performance.
