  • What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a highly effective water purification technology. It uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove up to 99% of dissolved solids, heavy metals, chemicals, and microorganisms from water. The result: clear, clean, and safe drinking water.

  • What is reverse osmosis and how does it work?

Reverse osmosis is a water filtration process that uses pressure to force water through a semi-permeable membrane. It removes up to 99% of dissolved solids, heavy metals, pesticides, viruses, and bacteria – producing exceptionally pure drinking water.

  • What applications are reverse osmosis systems suitable for?

    Our systems are ideal for:

    • Residential use (drinking water purification)
    • HoReCa (coffee machines, dishwashers)
    • Industry and commerce (process water)
    • Mobile use (camping, events)
    • Emergency supply (disaster relief, crisis zones)

  • Does reverse osmosis remove all contaminants?

RO systems effectively remove most contaminants – including nitrate, lead, uranium, limescale, chlorine, and microplastics. Some gases and very small molecules like CO₂ or solvents may partially pass through the membrane.

  • How often should I change filters and the membrane?

    • Pre-filters: every 6 months
    • RO membrane: every 2–3 years (depending on use and water quality)
    • Post-filters (carbon, remineralization): every 6–12 months

  • Is reverse osmosis water safe to drink?

Yes – RO water is completely safe and free of harmful substances. It can also be remineralized to improve taste and mineral balance if desired.

  • Can I install a reverse osmosis system myself?

Many of our household models are designed for easy DIY installation and come with detailed instructions. For industrial systems or larger units, we recommend professional installation.

  • How much water is wasted during reverse osmosis?

Depending on the system, the ratio of purified to waste water can range from 1:1 to 1:3. Modern systems with booster or permeate pumps are especially efficient and minimize water waste.

  • Are mobile reverse osmosis systems available?

Yes, we offer mobile RO systems designed for camping, outdoor use, events, or emergencies. They are compact, lightweight, and can operate without electricity – ideal for on-the-go use.

  • Why should I buy a reverse osmosis system?

    • No more carrying bottled water
    • Consistently high water quality
    • Less limescale in appliances
    • Cost-effective and sustainable
    • Safe for your family or business
