Cartridge Replacement Frequency

Replacing the cartridges is quick and straightforward, requiring only a simple twist-and-lock mechanism. The filter automatically shuts off the water flow when the cartridge is removed, ensuring a clean and dry replacement process. Thanks to this design, cartridge replacement takes less than 5 minutes and requires no tools.

For an easy cartridge replacement, check our video guide.

The CROSS Solo features automatic membrane flushing to prevent contamination and extend membrane lifespan. Additionally, an automatic shut-off function activates after 30 minutes of continuous operation, ensuring resource conservation and system stability.

This system is designed for use with high-quality tap water free of chlorine and turbidity.

Cartridge Replacement Notification

CROSS Solo is equipped with a smart indicator system that alerts you when a filter cartridge has reached the end of its service life:

  • The power indicator will start blinking.
  • All filter indicators will remain solid.
  • An audible alert will also sound:
    • 10 beeps every hour
    • 10 beeps each time you open the tap for water purification

These visual and audible signals indicate that it's time to replace the cartridges.

After Cartridge Replacement

After installing the new cartridges, press and hold the "Restart" button for 5 seconds to reset the filter status. You will hear a single beep, confirming that the reset was successful and the system is ready for use.

Important usage tip: We recommend discarding the first two glasses of water in the morning or using them to water plants. Due to natural diffusion during overnight downtime, the quality of the purified water may slightly deteriorate.

FAQ

  • Yes, but you must install a CTO carbon filter or a combination of polypropylene and carbon filters before the system. This protects the membrane and ensures proper operation.

  • During periods of non-use, such as overnight, natural diffusion can slightly reduce water purity inside the system.

To ensure optimal quality, we recommend discarding the first two glasses or using them for non-drinking purposes like watering plants.

  • The system will notify you with:

    • A blinking power indicator
    • Solid filter status indicators
    • Audible alerts:
      • 10 beeps every hour
      • 10 beeps each time you open the tap for purification
  • Press and hold the “Restart” button for 5 seconds.

A single beep will confirm that the reset is complete and the filter is ready for use.

  • Basic automatic flushing uses tap water to rinse the membrane.

hile it helps maintain system hygiene, we recommend discarding the first two glasses in the morning to ensure the highest water quality after periods of non-use.
