Ecosoft Aquapoint Azure Duo water filter, 3/4″ is designed for municipal tap water where both clarity and taste matter most. The system features two housings and works with two filter cartridges: a dual-gradient PP sediment filter (20–5 micron) that removes sand, rust, and other visible particles, and a granular activated carbon filter that helps improve water taste and reduce organic odors. This combination provides more advanced treatment than single-stage sediment filtration while remaining compact and easy to maintain.
Precision-engineered in Italy with over 20 years of water treatment expertise, the filter delivers stable hydraulic performance and long-term reliability. Its optimized internal design supports higher flow with reduced pressure drop, while a precision 2 mm tip ensures accurate cartridge centering and secure, leak-free sealing. Can the filter housing be installed outdoors?
It is technically possible to install the housing outdoors if the ambient temperature stays within the system’s operating range.
However, we do not recommend outdoor installation for the following reasons:
- Exposure to direct sunlight and open air can lead to microorganism growth inside the housing, especially if any organic matter is present. This can shorten the cartridge service life, reduce flow, and even pose a health risk.
- Prolonged UV exposure can make the plastic brittle, potentially compromising the housing’s durability and performance.
For these reasons, we recommend installing the housing in a shaded, protected area, away from direct sunlight.

Are cartridges from other manufacturers compatible with the housing?
Yes, the housing is designed with standard dimensions, making it compatible with cartridges from other manufacturers.
However, for optimal performance and guaranteed quality, we recommend using original Ecosoft replacement cartridges.
The housing supports widely used configurations such as DOE and COE.

Can this filter be used for hot water?
No, this filter is designed for purifying cold water only. The water temperature should not exceed 50 °C.

Why is PET a better material?
PET is a durable, lightweight material with excellent impact and chemical resistance, making it suitable for long-term use even in challenging conditions. Compared to SAN, it is tougher and more resilient. PET is also widely recyclable, which makes it a more eco-friendly choice.

Why is a 3-component housing better than a 2-component one?
A 3-component design provides more reliable sealing and easier handling. The nut applies even pressure on the gasket for a tighter seal, simplifies installation and removal, and distributes mechanical load evenly to reduce wear and the risk of leaks.

Can I install the filter myself, or do I need a plumber?
The filter features a compact, installation-friendly design with standard 1/2″ or 3/4″ brass connections. Users with basic plumbing skills can install it themselves.
However, to ensure correct installation, leak-free operation, and warranty compliance, we recommend professional installation.

Will this filter reduce my water pressure?
Not significantly.
The filter is designed for high flow capacity and optimized internal hydraulics. When the cartridge is replaced on time, you can expect clean water with no noticeable drop in pressure during normal operation.

Is the plastic housing safe for drinking water?
Yes. All Ecosoft filter housings are made from European food-grade plastic and are completely BPA-free. They do not add any chemicals, odors, or plastic taste to drinking water.
