Product information
Ecosoft Core Gold 250 water softener with DV valve is a compact monoblock system with ECOMIX® A media, designed for comprehensive treatment of water with complex composition. The patented ECOMIX® A media reduces hardness, iron, manganese, ammonium, and organic compounds in one filtration process, helping protect household appliances, plumbing, and heating systems from scale buildup, reddish stains, and other effects of poor water quality.
The compact cabinet design makes the system suitable for private homes, boiler rooms, basements, and utility spaces. The reliable DV control valve operates automatically and requires minimal user involvement. Core Gold 250 combines multi-component water treatment, convenient maintenance, and long-term performance to provide stable treated water for everyday household use.
Technical information
To ensure proper operation, keep the salt level in the brine tank above the water level at all times. We recommend keeping the tank about two-thirds full of salt.
How often you need to add salt depends on water hardness and daily water consumption. For most homes, it is enough to check the salt level every 2–4 weeks.
Important: Do not let the salt run out completely, as this may stop the regeneration process and reduce water softening efficiency.
FAQ
-
How does the Core Gold system provide multi-component water treatment in one compact unit?
The system uses patented ECOMIX® A media, which is designed to reduce several common water contaminants in one filtration process. Unlike a standard softener that mainly reduces hardness, ECOMIX® A also helps reduce iron, manganese, ammonium, and organic compounds. This makes the system suitable for water with a more complex composition. The DV control valve automatically manages regeneration, restoring the treatment capacity of the media and helping maintain stable water quality during operation.
-
Is softened water safe to drink?
Yes. Softened water has reduced hardness, which improves comfort and equipment protection, but remains safe for drinking. It contains fewer calcium and magnesium ions, but no harmful substances are added or introduced.
-
How often do I need to add salt to the Core softener?
Salt should always be maintained above the water level in the brine tank — ideally, it should fill about 2/3 of the tank volume. The exact frequency depends on your water hardness and daily water usage, but for a typical household, this means checking the salt level every 2–4 weeks and refilling as needed. Never let the salt run out completely, as this may interrupt the regeneration process and reduce softening performance.
