El filtro de ósmosis inversa de flujo directo RObust COFFEE está diseñado solo para la purificación de agua fría.
Control de presión
El panel frontal incluye dos manómetros:
- Manómetro de entrada – muestra la presión después de los prefiltros.
- Manómetro de la bomba – muestra la presión después del bloque de membrana.

Cartuchos de prefiltración
Cambia los prefiltros después de 3 000 litros de agua filtrada o al menos cada 3 meses.
- Si la presión después de los prefiltros baja de 1 bar, los cartuchos pueden estar obstruidos.
- Retrasar el reemplazo puede dañar la membrana o reducir su vida útil.
Membrana de ósmosis inversa
Si el rendimiento disminuye notablemente, es necesario reemplazar la membrana. Hazlo después de 30 000 litros o al menos una vez al año si la velocidad de filtración disminuye.
Cartucho de postfiltración
Reemplaza si el sabor empeora o aparece olor, después de 5 000 litros o al menos cada 3 meses.
Importante: cambia todos los cartuchos juntos como un set.
Mantenimiento en periodos de inactividad
Si no se usa durante más de 2 semanas, desinfecta antes de volver a usar (consulta el procedimiento en el manual de usuario).

Which TDS do I need for the perfect brew and can I achieve it with Ecosoft?
Yes, Ecosoft water treatment systems can help you reach the TDS levels recommended by the SCA.
The SCA suggests a TDS range of 75–250 ppm, but it’s important to remember that the composition of total dissolved solids plays a major role in how your coffee tastes. With an optimal balance of calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg), the RObust COFFEE creates water that enhances the unique aromas and flavors of each coffee bean.

Do I need to use a tank with your water purification systems in my café?
While it’s not strictly necessary to use a tank with our water filtration systems, we do recommend it.
Using a tank helps stabilise TDS levels in the water, which results in more consistent coffee flavour.

What TDS levels can I achieve in my café with your water purification systems?
The exact TDS levels vary by product:
- RObust COFFEE achieves TDS levels of 60–120 ppm
- RObust Mini, RObust 1500 and similar models achieve 10–30 ppm
Some of our systems, like the RObust COFFEE, allow you to adjust the TDS level using flow restrictors. These restrictors are included in your café kit, and instructions can be found inside the box or under Downloads on this page (left sidebar).

What TDS is required for the inlet water?
The required TDS level of the inlet water depends on the filter model.
All our RObust reverse osmosis filters require a TDS level of 1,000 ppm or less except for RObust Coffee. For this one the required TDS is 150-500 ppm.
