The Scalex filter was developed to protect washing machines and dishwashers from limescale build-up. The filter housing is made from high-quality SAN Luran® material, which ensures the filter's reliability and durability.
Technical information
Ecosoft Scalex filter is intended for use only with cold tap water. For optimal performance, it is recommended to install the filter vertically.
The filter has a capacity of 20,000 liters or up to 400 washing cycles — enough to use your washing machine daily for an entire year.
However, tap water often contains impurities like sand, iron, and organic particles. Over time, these contaminants can clog the filtering material, preventing the release of active anti-scale components into the water — even though the granules still contain the substance.
To ensure continuous protection of your washing machine from limescale and keep your clothes clean and soft, we recommend replacing the filtering media every 6 months.
Important: Before first use, rinse the filter with water for 2–5 minutes to remove any residual particles or contaminants that may have entered during manufacturing.
