It effectively removes hardness, iron, manganese, and ammonium, protecting household appliances from limescale and extending their service life. The unique composition of ECOMIX® P combines ion exchange and sorption functions in one filter medium, eliminating the need for additional filtration stages.

How does TDS change after treatment with ECOMIX® P?
TDS may increase by about 10% compared to the original level. This occurs because hardness cations are replaced with harmless sodium ions during ion exchange.

Is it necessary to install a sediment filter before ECOMIX® P?
Yes, it is highly recommended. Fine particles can clog the media surface and reduce ECOMIX® P efficiency.

Why is the softening capacity of ECOMIX® P lower than that of a standard cation exchange resin?
It only appears lower. The capacity of the cation exchange part is rated separately because ECOMIX® P contains five different components, not just cation resin. The softening efficiency of the complete media remains comparable to standard cation resins.

Can the tank be completely filled with ECOMIX® P?
No. The tank must have at least 40% freeboard above the ECOMIX® P bed to ensure proper regeneration.
