ECOMIX® C filter material 25 L

Product information

Ecosoft ECOMIX® C filter media 25 L is an advanced multi-component material designed for treating well or municipal water with high levels of organic matter. It effectively removes hardness, iron, manganese, ammonium, and natural organics, delivering soft, clear, and pleasant-tasting water for everyday household use. Thanks to its unique composition, ECOMIX® C combines ion exchange and sorption functions in a single filter medium, replacing multiple filtration stages and ensuring reliable operation.

The material provides stable performance even with significant seasonal changes in raw water quality, making it ideal for residential systems that treat complex problem water. ECOMIX® C is ACS certified for use in drinking water applications.

FAQ

  • It is not recommended to use ECOMIX® solely for organic matter reduction. However, ECOMIX® C can effectively reduce organics and color while also softening well or municipal water. The system capacity should still be calculated based on the raw water hardness.

  • Yes, it is highly recommended. Fine particles can clog the media surface and reduce ECOMIX® C efficiency.

  • TDS may increase by about 10% compared to the original level. This occurs because hardness cations are replaced with harmless sodium ions during ion exchange.

  • No. The tank must have at least 40% freeboard above the ECOMIX® C bed to ensure proper regeneration.

  • It is not recommended. ECOMIX® C performs best when the water contains sufficient hardness ions, which help maintain the optimal balance between all components of the media.
