What is the Pink softener and what is it used for?

The Pink is a compact water softener for tap water, designed to remove hardness that cause limescale in pipes and household appliances. It protects your home’s plumbing system and extends the life of equipment like washing machines, boilers, and dishwashers.
Is softened water safe to drink?

Yes. Softened water has reduced hardness, which improves comfort and equipment protection, but remains safe for drinking. It contains fewer calcium and magnesium ions, but no harmful substances are added or introduced.
How often do I need to add salt to the Pink softener?

Salt should always be maintained above the water level in the brine tank — ideally, it should fill about 2/3 of the tank volume. The exact frequency depends on your water hardness and daily water usage, but for a typical household, this means checking the salt level every 2–4 weeks and refilling as needed. Never let the salt run out completely, as this may interrupt the regeneration process and reduce softening performance.
