Product information
Ecosoft Anthracite Gold 250 water softener is a compact monoblock system designed for private homes, best suited for installation in boiler rooms or utility spaces. With a flow rate of up to 1.2 m³/h, it effectively softens water and, thanks to the advanced ECOMIX® A media, also removes iron, manganese, and natural organic matter. This unique technology ensures consistent water quality, even when raw water composition changes seasonally. The large 120 kg salt tank reduces refill frequency, saving time and effort for households.
Built with a robust rotomolded cabinet and equipped with the Ecosoft diamond valve, the Anthracite Gold 250 offers exceptional durability and stable long-term performance. It combines efficient water treatment, convenient operation, and reliability, making it a smart choice for families of up to 6 people.
Technical information
The large brine tank means you don’t need to check the salt level often. Just keep the salt above the water level — about two-thirds full. For most homes, checking once every 2–4 months is enough.
Important: Never let the salt run out completely, as this may stop regeneration and reduce the efficiency of your softener.
FAQ
-
What is the Anthracite Gold softener and what is it used for?
The Anthracite is a monoblock water softener for tap water, designed to remove hardness that cause limescale in pipes and household appliances. It protects your home’s plumbing system and extends the life of equipment like washing machines, boilers, and dishwashers.
-
Is softened water safe to drink?
Yes. Softened water has reduced hardness, which improves comfort and equipment protection, but remains safe for drinking. It contains fewer calcium and magnesium ions, but no harmful substances are added or introduced.
-
How often do I need to add salt to the Anthracite Gold softener?
Salt should always be maintained above the water level in the brine tank — ideally, it should fill about 2/3 of the tank volume. The exact frequency depends on your water hardness and daily water usage, but for a typical household, this means checking the salt level every 2–4 months and refilling as needed. Never let the salt run out completely, as this may interrupt the regeneration process and reduce softening performance.
